Graphene coating, explained simply

Graphene coating is the next evolution of ceramic coating chemistry. It uses graphene — an extremely thin, strong carbon material — blended into the coating formula to improve how the layer bonds, sheds heat, and resists wear compared to standard ceramic products.

Where it outperforms standard ceramic

The biggest practical difference is heat management. Graphene coatings dissipate heat more efficiently, which reduces the risk of water spotting when you wash the car in direct sun — something standard ceramic coatings can struggle with.

Graphene also tends to produce a noticeably deeper, wetter-looking gloss and a slicker, more hydrophobic surface, meaning dirt and water bead off with even less effort during washing.

Durability and maintenance

A professionally applied graphene coating typically outlasts a standard ceramic coating, holding its hydrophobic properties and gloss for longer between top-up applications — though exact longevity always depends on how the car is driven, washed and stored.

It still isn't a substitute for PPF against stone chips and scratches; it's purely a chemical protection and gloss layer, not a physical barrier.

Is it worth the upgrade over ceramic?

If you're already investing in professional paint correction and coating, the incremental cost of graphene over standard ceramic is usually worth it for the extra durability and gloss — particularly if your car sits outdoors in Vadodara's heat and sun for long stretches.
